first vid is their soph running back getting a pass vs wayne trace. i believe his name is kuesel.( this is why i knew WT didnt have a chance:biggrin: )

second one is marc krauss himself. i knwo ya cant see it. i believe ONN had a good shot of it but george(qb) passed the ball and krauss went up tipped it up and pulled it down as he was falling.

I have nothing against glenville, but until they prove they can win a big game, I won't expect them to beat a team of the caliber they will be facing in the state finals...speed and athleticism, glenville is probably the best in the nation, no doubt....but that is only part of the game.

No offense, but why don't you consider their wins over St Ignatius and St Edward in the playoffs last year big games? Those are two of the perennial powers in R1 every year. Glenville knocked them both off.

I called St X vs. Glenville/McKinley winner. Glenville will have trouble with Eds Saturday, but they should still prevail. Eds is too beat up physically right now to play as well as they can.

agreed. i still like this to be glenville's year and nelson is a solid qb. st eds has really come on strong of as late so it should be interesting to see how that game goes.

i don't have any brillliant reasoning, I just think this is one of the best st.x teams ever (they have had some great teams) and that they are due.....that may be a silly reason, but its my reason.

Plus, defense wins championships.

wow i really got to give steubenville credit this year because they are rolling. i see them winning state now after this regional game. maybe steubenville will succeed finally for the title this year........sure looks that way.

I don't know if anybody saw this, but I can't remember the team, but it was a game between two big Cin. schools and they were going for a field goal. Except it was a fake, the holder got the snap, the kicker ran behind him and the holder tossed a behind-the-back pass to the kicker who ended up going for a long td run.

It may have been St. X, not sure, but I have a realy good feeling St. X was one of the teams in the game.
