I'm not catholic. But that's not the point. He isn't a sports commentator. HS a university president. He's suppose to have more tact and grace than this.

It's not jut this one isolated incident. It's a string of inappropriate or Inappropriately worded comments

hahaha! I like it.

i can't wait to hear the reaction from some SEC coaches (I'm sure the bowl record will be brought up by someone).

things like this just add to the excitement of sports.

I wish more people would say stuff like this. ok, maybe not calling out an entire religion, but Notre Dame and the SEC should be fair game.

People seemed to have issues with a President who was only doing the right thing in the Public's eye. Remember Karen Holbrook?

Also, people just need to get over holding a public figure to perfection. People are allowed to make jokes.

And yes it is the point. When the butt of said joke isn't offended, then no one should take offense to it.

This right here. There is a reason that he was brought back to Ohio State.

He loves Ohio State and Ohio State loves him. Our Alumni are going to know that his comments were made in jest and if anything will eat it up as our President talking our school up while ribbing those that are not with us.

If anything it may even lead to more money coming in to the university

Outside of UF and Vandy the SEC is a bunch of football teams with community colleges attached.

Domers do feel entitled, they also all happen to be Catholics.

I'm all for anyone who puts ripples in this estrogen laden, soccer mom, everyone gets a trophy, PC pool they are trying to force on us.
