It was totally inappropriate

He took a shot at a large group of people and identified them by religion....needlessly

A president of OSU should have more dignity and tact.

If the President of my Fortune 100 employer had made that, he'd have been fired. I think that would have been inappropriate unless there was a pattern of this behavior repeated. But Gee has a clear trend of this stuff

No, you were pissed because our president referred to SEC schools in a negative academic light. You, taking obvious offense to it, posted a lame clip that tried--poorly--to make B1G coaches look goofy.

I don't really have any problem with what Gee said. I see the Catholic line was a joke, and Catholics endure far worse rib pokes over the years so you kind of build up thick skin. Just imagine if the comment was directed towards Jews or Muslims, shit would hit the fan.

Aside from the Catholic joke, everything else was mostly spot on. People are too insensitive these days. Even if you're the president of a major university you shouldn't have to be so politically correct imo. This is America, when did that change?

Are you Catholic? If not, why do you care when a Catholic (who just hung out with other Catholics who also didn't take offense to it) isn't insulted by it?

Not to speak for anyone but give me a fucking break...."can't be trusted" I know it was a joke and took it as one but you are implying that its true and everyone knows its only Irish Catholics that can't be trusted...I mean Urban, Vrabes and Fick are all practicing Catholics..they can be trusted

P.S. Ironically Salt Lake City Utah is the capital for consumer fraud in the US...Mormon Mafia is real people...that's why the dental school at Ohio State had a high Mormon acceptance rate a few years back (30% for three years) and it had to be stopped
