Dylan Raiola (QB Nebraska)

This day and age, my first inclination is NIL.

Maybe he got a sense of what value he holds in this new wild west NIL world that blew up fairly recently. OSU has clearly sent a message that they don't have the money now.
You've made NIL the boogey man, and you're confirming it with zero evidence.

Good luck to Dylan

So yeah, Lincoln Kienholz's commitment is looking pretty clutch right now. Wondering if Lincoln knew this was going to happen or likely to happen before he pulled the trigger for the Buckeyes

Maybe it's NIL and maybe it's not. But NIL has negated much of Ohio States recruiting advantage.

There was always cash changing hands at some level and in some amount. But OSU could argue better facilities. They could argue better coaches, traditions, fan base, and exposure. Most importantly they could argue a better route to the NFL than almost any other program.

But a benjamin is a benjamin.

We have folks on here arguing they should go to OSU because their Dad taught them the fight song when they were toddlers. I give each of my grandkids $1,000 when they graduate HS. It is the most money they have ever seen in their lives.

I have no evidence that this decommit was because of NIL.

But it was NIL.

That early commitment and late de commitment screwed us up, as did Ewers and his shake out.

There were other options available these past two recruiting cycles.

It was a serious disservice.

I wonder what the issue was with this one. OSU gave the kid a plethora of options to throw to.

Crazy... I hope this doesn't hurt our WR commitments.
