Whoever gets the HC job (last I checked, no one has been hired) needs to have the freedom to retain/replace anyone on the staff. It needs to be their decision, not dictated to them.

As a reminder, Mike S was once lauded as one of the top assistants in the game. So I disagree.

That doesn't mean Luke won't make a better head coach one day.
