Good luck wherever he ends up next year, as I can't see him being kept unless everyone and their brother turns the job down. There are a few that might be content to keep some of the defensive people along with Luke as a DC, but not sure how many.

This game wouldn't really change Luke's position if I were in charge. Let's not forget that losses @ Purdue with a Freshman QB were the norm under the Vest.

Then I am glad you're not in charge. It goes beyond just this game today. Just when OSU fans were starting to have some faith in him, then today's game happened.

Urban Meyer please.

What if he say no? What if we get hammered, and a lot people don't want this job? Urban Meyer is not Jesus Christ and won't save us from the NCAA, a freshmen QB, and a very young team.

Who ever the coach is next year I will cheer my ass off for him. But all the Urban talk is outta hand. He's a great coach, but not fucking Helen Keller.

What we really need is an Annie Sullivan.

Did Luke have any say in keeping Bollman? No. Then how can you blame him for a staff that he had no hand in assembling? He was dealt a hand in advance that he had no input on playing. They told him how many to draw and which to discard. The fact that the outcome was not optimum is unfortunate, but given his restrictions you have to blame the people, events and decisions that put him in that spot rather than blame Coach Luke. From my outside view anyway.

Nothing about that is saying not to replace him. Just that blaming him for the season seems a bit much, even though he took the job given the situation. Part of that was opportunity, but a whole hell of a lot of that had to be loyalty to his alma mater and him trying to help them out in a tough spot.
