technically, 20 over 2 now.

edit... but keep in mind... the type of players that USC and OSU go after think that they are a top dog so they can be difference makers and that it won't matter if other good players are there or not.

edit... but keep in mind... the type of players that USC and OSU go after think that they are a top dog so they can be difference makers and that it won't matter if other good players are there or not.

It's still 30 lost over 3. They haven't signed the first class yet with the penalties. As the numbers sit if they don't have attrition they are looking at bringing in 6-7 scholarship athletes in the 2012 class.

Understood. The postseason bans already started then without the schollies. Still, one year without that, then they are free game. The kids coming in now would think that they would be the ones in 2 years to win a title there.

It also doesn't say anything about his degree. Does anyone know what it is? Any post-graduate degrees? Would Ohio State turn him down for a permanent head coaching job because of a lack of education in his case?

Yes, please. Most of their indignance comes from the fact that they're finding out that the street-level jocksniffers were getting better access than the the credentialed ones.

No offense to him but I don't think he is ready for it yet. Just because the guy played here doesn't make him the best fit.

Fickell will not be Jim Tressel. There will never be another Tressel.

Fickell will be Fickell, and there will probably never be another Fickell. I have faith that he can the job done well.

Won't this be the first time Ohio State and Michigan play each other when both schools have a 1st year coach?
