The dude's unhinged anytime Duke finds itself in a close game. He's bullied refs for years, and now he's bullying fans of opposing teams. I've never figured out why his reputation never seems to take a hit despite this.

The amount of self-entitlement that asshole possesses is gargantuan (so rarely get to use that in a sentence). The whole ACC is supposed to revolve around him and his program. Now he's trying to bully the entire conference into not leaving.

While I understand that Delaney's scorched earth tactics towards the ACC are primarily aimed at the domers, seeing Duke and Krezoowski as collateral damage is highly satisfying.

Agreed...many of the same people who proclaim to hate Bobby Knight worship at the alter of Mike K. But he is just as much of a bully as Knight ever was, especially to the refs.

So basically Coach K was mad because they had to wait behind a nice, sturdy line of arena staff with security and police in front of them while the happy UVA fans rushed the court...yeah, I didn't see much of a safety issue there. I'd hate to see Coach K's reaction to visiting Disney World on Christmas or NYE.

Spot on. I've often wondered why Knight gets a ton of flack whereas K is universally lauded as a good guy, even though they seem to be cut from the same mold as far as I'm concerned.

Not to be one-upped by his buddy when it comes to hyperbole, Coach K called Kelly's game last night "a performance for the ages." I'd like to think that despite his many misgivings, Coach K has seen enough basketball not to toss around terms like that for good, but far from great, performances. Guess I was wrong.
