Duck Hunters..........

I'm trying to get excited about this season with the 102 degree heat. So... how are thing shaping up out there for your opener next month ?? Seeing any early arrivals ??
We usually don't get a lot of early arrivals this time of year....mostly departures. There's some pretty good spots up near the lake (Erie) and elsewhere in NW Ohio, better than Central. I prefer Goose, and they are pretty much everywhere around here right now.

Thanks, Findlay. Didn't know there wasn't much of a duck scene around there. Here on the coast, it's the biggest thing along with dove and pig. We don't see much of the greater ringnecks like y'all probably do, but get millions of snows, specklebellies and lesser ringers. Sandhill cranes, too. If you ever get down this way during winter, let me know.

Aside from the kill, what could be fun about duck hunting.

Sorry, I just don't get the whole hunting experience.

Maybe bow hunting for deer, but I just don't get the fun of shooting a deer from 150 yards away with a high powered rifle.

Not a knock on you guys, just my observation.

That's cool. Just means you're a dorky loser who never goes outside. You're also a tree hugging hippy, so find a tree and hug it you pathetic, quivering sack of liberal monkey shit.
