Another elite (hopefully) D lineman makes the entire defense better and you can't really say that about any other position (maybe corner I suppose).
I have to be honest, I wasn't sure about this commit sticking but it looks like Michael is solid. Great, great player.

To call this year's Pendleton team snake bitten may be an understatement.
On the same night the Bulldogs' star tailback returned from injury, Shrine Bowl defensive tackle Michael Hill suffered a torn ligament in his hand and is done for the season.
The Ohio State commit's injury, which coach Paul Sutherland announced Thursday, is the latest in a swarm of injuries and disciplinary issues that have affected the Region 1-AA favorite this season. Pendleton (5-3, 3-2 in region) has already played itself out of the region title hunt and was hoping to be healthy for a run in the state playoffs.
Hill, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound space eater, was supposed to be a big part of that. Sutherland said Hill had his finger crushed and the ligaments separated from the bone during last week's 34-7 win over Carolina Academy.
Dr. Michael Palmer of Greenville, who specializes in orthopedic surgery of the hand, told Hill he would suffer arthritis within the year if he put off surgery until the end of the season.
"You hate it for the kid. He's a good kid who's been under a lot pressure to perform," Sutherland said of Hill, who had surgery Thursday.
Sutherland spent Monday evening on the phone with Ohio State coaches, Shrine Bowl coaches and U.S. Army All-American Bowl representatives.
"This will certainly not keep him from playing at Ohio State," Sutherland said. "This isn't like a running back who suffers a knee injury."
Hill, Pendleton's first major Division I recruit, had seen his numbers sink this season thanks to double and triple teams.
During his junior season, he tallied 81 tackles (25 for a loss) and six sacks. Going into the Carolina game, he had eight tackles for a loss, including four sacks.
