DT Luke Fickell (HC Wisconsin Badgers)

Perfect scenario for me would be to keep the defensvie staff in place with Fick as assistant head coach/DC. Bring in a new HC with a new offensive staff.

Really feel for Coach Fick. What an impossible situation he accepted and was placed in

Can't see that one happening.

Agree with your sentiment.

Not going to lie, with the exception of the number of coaches I can count on one hand, we need to clean house if Fick is gone after this year. I think it's about time to start afresh.

Just look at the Bama vs Gator game. Gator's QB goes down to injury and in comes highly touted Freshman QB Driskel.

Results - Bama is drubbing Florida. At least our D kept it close. This game is a total domination. Bama up 38-10

Driskel is making mistakes, throwing Pick Six, dropping the ball, forgetting who to hand it off too...the list goes on...Just to much to ask of a Freshman at this level.

I wonder if the Gator fans are calling for Muschamps head?

You also forgot to add that they are playing probably the best team in the country and we were playing a very mediocre Sparty team....but yeah I get your sentiment

Lets also not forget the plunger still embedded in Sparty's ass from the Capital One bowl from last year...

True, but MSU brought in the best D in CFB according to "statistics"....

But, I also get what you are saying...

I dont buy it. Muschamp had to play him unexpected due to injury. Fickell had fall camp and 4 games to put the team in the best chance to win.

Fickell also had a team with the senior "leaders" sitting out suspensions. That's like starting the season with five starters on the injury list, not to mention the absence of their responsibility to help to the team coalesce.

I'm not even going to go on some of the sites right now, but I'd bet money that somebody is. Nature of the beast. Bucknuts has nothing on us after a bad loss. It's like the whole IQ of the world goes down a few points.

Im all for cutting Fick slack...for sure he had a bunch of crap laid on him.

But at the end of the day, that sort of performance at home cant be excused and washed away. This has been an exceedingly poorly coached team.
