Unlike some other boards, I think you will see that most people that post on BP are understanding of the fact that this is the biggest decision in this kid's life up until this point and if he wants to delay it a few weeks or a few months to be sure that he is making the right decision or because he wants to announce his decision on a specific date because it has some sort of meaning then, by all means, do what you have to do.

Here is one you can count on...when GG announces, that is it. No wavering, no second thoughts...done deal.

Given his schedule and commitment to two sports, right now is his official visit tour. Therefore, one can imagine this recruitment being in the "November" stage...close to the finish, but just making sure.

you surely aren't implying that the kid should make one of the biggest decisions of his life on his timeframe as opposed to that of people on a message board.

I respect & honor your support and honesty. I do not intend to ever offend anyone on BP.......however I feel quite certain that Garrett will commit by early August (at the latest) prior to "official" start of his football season. I know he wants this done however logistical / scheduling delays and the fact that he wrestled thru March has caused him to only visit a handfull of the 25 colleges that offerred him.

I believe grad meant that Garrett is at the stage in his recruiting where most other prospects are in November... a few months away from a decision. Just giving others a frame of reference where he is in the process.

At least that is how I interpreted it. :)

Thats the same thing I got. A lot of football recruits wait to take their visits
in late November after football season ends. Garrett is taking visits now instead of November due to wrestling training.

I just wish Garrett would commit to us tomorrow. IMHO he would fill the biggest need, now that we have the Oline in excellent shape. Hope the Xdude give us the heads up so we can have a complement of bananas
in effect.:)

Yes indeed I misinterpreted this, my apologies for my early symptoms of dementia.......Anyone have that cookie recipe??? My tapeworm is famished. Sorry men, think I need to follow Garrett's humble path a little closer.

Still love where we are at with Garrett...still the first school out of his mouth. If he doesn't verbal to UM during his July visit I would take that as a very good sign for us.
