Goebel is in Columbus. He is being "chauffeured" by someone very important. Down to Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Michgan (will visit them next week)

Very positive update for Ohio State. The writing looks to be on the wall..........

This was huge for BOTH of Garrett's parents to become more familiar with OSU as not only an football dynasty but as an quality academic institution. As stated in a prior thread the Buckeye Staff's focus on developing a young man in other area's (beside obvious athleticism) such as spiritually, emotionally and overall "character / moral values" in order to develope future leaders in area's besides football speaks volumes for the sincere commitment to each players OVERALL college experience. IMO this is what has really made the greatest overall impression on Garrett along with the "honor & respect" that each member (from coaches, players, trainers, etc...) has for one another. A close knit FAMILY with unwavering character. Thanks to EVERYONE for making this a truly special experience.

Garrett loved his time with Coach Heacock and will decide soon after his visit to UM on friday.

Best part of the story is Garrett saying he visited ND a few weeks ago...but that he will not be returning to South Bend any time soon.

The group of guys here were more than legit at getting to the bottom of the Garret Goebel recruitment. Definitely impressive.

He's a good prospect and person, that I wouldn't have minded seeing in Blue and Gold someday - especially since his HS is about 10-15 minutes drive from my house.

I'm a hair's breathe away from saying "nice get there Buckeye nation". It would take a miracle from the Michigan staff to pull this one out, but he's probably all yours.
