Wow, thats awesome. Congratulations, Dexter. He looks tough as nails. I bet kids about piss themselves when they see who they're about to wrestle.

Since you guys seem to be interested in Dexter's wrestling career I will try and continue to give you all up-dates. I follow Indiana's third ranked team so I will probably be in attendance at several sites as he goes thru the journey of winning the state title.

Here is a post from a Indiana HS wrestling board. BTW The Maurer kid they are speaking of wrestles at OSU.

I actually kind of agree with Taped...since we're talking one season, not the entire career. While both Maurer and Tsirtsis were undisputably dominant (their records speak for themselves), Dex has been pinning just about everyone. Alex and Blake faced better competition, for the most part, but Dex has also had success against nationally ranked wrestlers, including the aforementioned bout versus Perry of MO and his win over Asics All-American Chris Kasten last year. Alex and Blake didn't pin everyone they faced, especially against their toughest rivals, although they were clearly dominant. If, and that's a big if because we all know anything can happen to anyone, he continues to pin his way to the title, I think a case can be made for one of the most dominant single seasons in recent memory.

Thanks for the update. However, a pin is more likely in the heavyweight division due to the style of wrestling with throws and such. Alex Tsirtsis came out to camp here and he was an absolute stud and should be a force for Iowa. Anyways thanks for the update and hopefully Dex can keep it up.
