DT Dexter Larimore (official thread)

I was sitting by a couple of the Hobart wrestlers when Dexter wrestled Roy Hall, Hobart's heavy. When the match started, they started yelling, Run Roy, Run!!!
Roy shot for a single leg and got Dexter's ankle. Then they started yelling, now you did it!! you pissed him off!!The match was over about 30 seconds later when Dexter pinned the kid. I asked the kids if that's how they support their teammate's. They said they were looking out for his best interest....
Dexter won his 3rd Sectional Title and advances to the Regional Championship next Saturday.
As a team Merrillville won the Sectional and advances all 14 wrestlers to Regional.:osu:

Great story. We've got a thread going on the Legend of Troy Smith. Maybe we should start one on the Legend of Dexter.

Note to Big Ten O-Linemen--it's not wise to go out of your way to piss off Dexter Larimore.

btw, agree with jWins, the bold font is not necessary.

I quess turning down full ride schollies to wrestle at Iowa State, Michigan State, Missouri, and Indiana doesn't help your rankings. Better to be a BUCKEYE anyway!
Just out..

Three area wrestlers will put undefeated records on the line Saturday at the Merrillville Semistate.
Merrillville heavyweight Dexter Larimore (34-0), a state runner-up each of the last two seasons; Hanover Central 140-pounder Andrew Howe (44-0), the state runner-up at 130 last season; and Rensselaer 160-pounder Ryan Kaufman (38-0), all have yet to lose this season.
In all, 168 wrestlers converge on the semistate, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with the finals at 4 p.m., with the top four in each weight class advancing to the state finals at Conseco Fieldhouse next weekend. Galka (103), Anderson (112), Howe (130), Larimore (heavyweight) and Mishawaka 171-pounder Ian Hinton (34-0) are returning semistate champions.
