Not to detract from Adolphus, but do you think it's 100% Schutt returns this year? Or depends on the scenario? ie if we're undefeated he definitely doesn't get redshirted, if we have one loss he might be, 2+ he would be.... Or no matter what, when he's healthy he's playing.

Wednesday Practice Update: Florida A&M Week
Meyer said Schutt may not have been listed as a starter, but he was going to play half the snaps on defense. Schutt broke his first the first week of the season and is due back in October.

I may have missed it in the game thread, but did Adolphus have to leave early tonight? His presence was felt early, but after some point in the second quarter, I felt like he wasn't in there.

Must have missed it. My Bad. I believe fully that this Buckeye DE is the real deal...just if we are seeking a HUGE bowl game win we need him to regain form. Rooting for him as I'm sure many are. Bennett, Spence and Marcus and a little shout out to the Steve Miller Band...have been in order the best D-Linemen so far. I think a Athlete like Adolphus whom returned punts and kicks off back for TD's at Taft HS and now is a stout 295lbs can be what is needed in the special player category to win big.

4tkls and 1sk, playing through an injury. That's still a good game. We do need him as our anchor to be a great d line though, I agree. Has the versatility of a cam Heyward to play inside or out, which is a great asset. Hopefully playing the cupcakes of the big 10, will allow him some rest to heal up, and we can throw bosa in there, and there won't be much of a drop off in play
