Definitely take your time. That was the same injury that basically ended Bennett's season last year before he got started. It just nagged all year and he wasn't able to contribute at a high level. I would rather have no Washington for 2 or 3 games than a 70% washington all year.

If a player is at all questionable Saturday I see no need to play them and risk further injury. Steve Miller and Joey Bosa have both been playing really well the past two games.

Bennett and Washington on the inside is an interesting thought. Gotta get your best players on the field.

Maybe on passing downs but Hale does alot of the dirty work (ala Goebel last year) and takes on double teams to free up others. I think the coaches likely feel they already have an impact player in Bennett at DT and they would rather have Diesel making plays on the edge rather than taking on double teams and plugging gaps.
Not to mention I love rotating Washington, Bosa, and Miller (with Spence staying in) at DE and the Bennett, Hale, Carter, Hill, and Farris at DT.

Not to detract from Adolphus, but do you think it's 100% Schutt returns this year? Or depends on the scenario? ie if we're undefeated he definitely doesn't get redshirted, if we have one loss he might be, 2+ he would be.... Or no matter what, when he's healthy he's playing.

I'll have to go with that, maybe. Two obvious things are at play here. Urban certainly want a fully functional 2 deep bad ass D line, Mike Vrabel can coach the hell out of kids. If Tommy is in fact one of the best 2 at his position...he plays.
