DT Adolphus "Diesel" Washington (Official Thread)

Amazing pickup if (when?) true. I'm glad to see one homegrown son stay loyal despite the seductress from up north's best efforts. After the NCAA ruled no major violations for Ohio State it was only a matter of time till Hoke's negative recruiting lost its sheen :oh:

Well, tOSU has had 12 homegrown sons stay loyal so far this recruiting season. So you should be really glad then!

I hate bucknuts but it wasn't them. It was one of their national guys and he's not to blame. His dad told them he was committing, title is a lil misleading as he has not in fact committed.

Hope to see him pull the trigger tonight.

And the guy talked to his dad again since the article, and the dad said his son will be committing.

He's having a chat on the OSU rivals site tonight at 8, so maybe he has plans doing so then.

The talented journalists from bucknuts have corrected their story.

From the author of the linked article, in the comments:

Here are the facts as I know them from his father. Obviously I talked to Adolphus this afternoon as well.
This morning he told his father he was ready to commit. His father was able to talk with Coach Peterson and Coach Fickell and told him his son was going to commit. They basically said great call back tonight or tomorrow and we'll get it done.
I just talked to Adolphus Sr. again. He said his son is supposed to still talk with Coach Peterson tonight. Coach Peterson is expecting a commitment so we'll see how that conversation turns out.
I think what happened was, even though Ohio State is the clear leader, it sounds like Adolphus still may want to take a couple visits.
