Jeffcat;831214; said:no but i am medically inclined enough to be logical and realize that the "benefits" of alcohol are severely hurled off a scale by the weights.
ORD_Buckeye;828125; said:Actually, read up on some of the health studies on moderate alcohol consumption reported by, among others, Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins and The New England Journal of Medicine. There is a verified and growing body of knowledge showing that moderate consumption of alcohol aids in the body's resistance to alzheimers, cancer and heart disease.
Jeffcat;831230; said:please enlighten me then.
Jeffcat;831228; said:none are "showing" that this is a reality besides heart disease which is the case of athersclerosis. they have reason to believe but none of the studies have shown this to be medically correct or peerly reviewed extensively as of yet. and moderate is the equivalent to half a beer or a glass of wine which nobody obviously obeys "moderation". not to mention that nobody drink alcohol for this reason so it is essentially irrelevant.
buckeyefool;831226; said:Did you read the study? Probally not....see when you don't listen or read this is what happens....you look like an idiot
So I pose a question to you, you refuse, and complain that I won't answer yours? Are you kidding?Jeffcat;831242; said:why can't you?
Shouldn't he just insist for you to answer it for him?Jeffcat;831241; said:well come on give it a try. what is your valid, sound, and logical reasoning? i am dying to hear it.
buckeyefool;831239; said:So basicly you are saying no one ever has just one beer...and even if they do, that they are not drinking it for the reason that it can have some health benifits so therefore the findings are null?
wow
As for people drinking in moderation....have you ever been to a resturant? look around you will see quite a few people having one beer with there dinner. It is actually pretty common.
