Dorial Green-Beckham (Tennessee Titans)

Heritage tops Hillcrest, DGB still shines

Beckham-Green, 6-6, 220, 4.41, got off to a slow start at wide receiver with 2 catches for 18 yards in the first half, and Qualls was on fire as Heritage jumped out to a 30-0 lead at the half. Interceptions plagued Hillcrest all night, and at least three came on passes intended for Beckham.

Beckham, also the adoptive father of Green-Beckham, picked it up big-time in the second half and finished with 7 catches for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns on a 27-yard catch-and-run and on a 40-yard bomb. Hillcrest made it a 16-point game with 10 minutes to play and also recovered an onside kick right after that. But it was not enough to stop Heritage.

The morning Urban was hired, ESPN reported that Beckham's interest had increased. Any truth to that matter? They reported that the top 3 recruits had taken interest since Meyer's hire. I could be wrong about the top 3 but I know for a fact that Beckham and Spence were mentioned.

I know you can't really turn a player like DGB down (even though I have some concerns about the level of competition he plays against), but would they really take 5 receivers in this class? Would someone end up getting left out?

Any other wideout, I'd say no. But to Dorial, I say ABSOLUTELY.
