I don't know that the rules are that much different, they just live different lives. For example, they can mount a different hard-bodied hottie like a rabid grapefruit every night if they want...of course with that comes a lot of baggage, but that's the lifestyle. Rape is still rape...there's just a lot of he said/she said, golddigger versus predator stuff that comes along with that. But that's professional athletes, not specific to the NBA.I'm not attacking blacks as so much I'm pointing out that there exists a a privileged culture within pro sports where actions are swept under the rub in order to protect a brand. Of course not all players are bad nor all violators are black but it's undeniable that these kids (well men actually) live by a different set of rules than the rest of us. That's just a fact jack.
Money affects the judicial system. Check. But that isn't specific to the NBA.Yes, the difference being is that your average run of the mill rapist will be prosecuted, try prosecuting some owner's $50,000,000 investment
Another Taosism. I can google anything and find it. Will it be legitimate? Maybe. Will it include the proper context to evaluate the full picture? Rarely.Just google it and tell me if you don't find anything.
there is a rape culture in hollywood. there is a rape culture in the vatican. there is a rape culture in washington dc. there is a rape culture at west point. there is a rape culture on wall street.Rape culture in the NBA is well documented, look it up.
So an unapologetic racist gets exposed for his incredibly hateful and bigoted perspective on NBA players and you decide it's a wise idea to harp on many of the same stereotypes about that group of people?Cuz 'thread topic'
and in almost every singles bar & nightclub in america, no matter the demographic.there is a rape culture in hollywood. there is a rape culture in the vatican. there is a rape culture in washington dc. there is a rape culture at west point. there is a rape culture on wall street.

I never harped on any particular race, I'm harping on the league that's harping on said racist, there's much hypocrisy going on here, let's not kid ourselves. So an unapologetic racist gets exposed for his incredibly hateful and bigoted perspective on NBA players and you decide it's a wise idea to harp on many of the same stereotypes about that group of people?
"It's not rape if you pay off the victim and buy your wife a diamond ring the size of a golf ball." - KobeRape culture in the NBA is well documented, look it up.
First Sterling's bigotry gets exposed for hating a demographic.I never harped on any particular race, I'm harping on the league that's harping on said racist, there's much hypocrisy going on here, let's not kid ourselves.
Not at all, just pointing out that just because a crime has been pleaded down or settled out of court doesn't mean it didn't happen, watch the Out of Bounds piece and give me your thoughts.First Sterling's bigotry gets exposed for hating a demographic.
Then Garafalo's bigotry gets exposed for emotional lies based on prejudices instead of facts.
When stats are provided showing that no, the NBA has an incredibly low arrest total, you try to shift the goal posts.
When 1% of the OSU football squad gets arrested per year, most here don't like it but would consider it a fairly uneventful offseason. When 1% of the NBA is arrested, it's still being used as ammo about what they're like.
Slightly off topic with the thread but still relevant. We don't hear a lot of the [Mark May] that goes down because we're only told what they want us to hear. A perfect example of that is what Savage explains here is this piece regarding Beyonce's sister and the brutal murder in the east village a few days ago
