No my hate for them grows on a yearly basis. I love when they start losing and "go away" all of a sudden, then all the "fans" crawl back into the cracks, and you dont hear from them, until ND hires their next "savior" as coach.

Oh I left out one trait in describing the normal ND "fan", and that is "stupid" :biggrin:

"stupid" as in lacking in even the slightest ammount of football knowledge, or lacking in the concept of reality.

I fall under the same area as grad....I don't hate ND I hate weis though. I wouldn't mind seeing Brady Quinn have a great year and have a good pro career since he is an ohio boy. The problems I do have with ND have to do with teh way Weis carries himself and how much of an ass he comes off as. The other problem is the medias coverage of them which like grad said, isn't really NDs fault.

On a side note...I do find it funny that cheif thinks OSU fans are obsessed. Let me tell you all a little story and you tell me who is obsessed. A few months ago in a thread that was titled NFL team you love...NFL team you hate. I responded I loved the Bengals and hated SF because of Joe Montana and the story about seeing John Candy in the final drive of the SuperBowl.....And person who knows anything about football could tell you why someone who love the Bengals who hate Montana. instead I get a little pm from NDChump, saying...what are you jealous that ND has had more good QB's in the NFL than OSU. So tell me Chump...who is obsessed?

ND sucks beyond all repair. Their hype and complete b.s. that they allow ESPeN to spew out hurts college football and personally, my life.

They suck, and I hope they lose every game.

They keep all their profits from bowls. They have a tv contract to themselves. Everyone thinks the team is holy and catholic when they aren't. Charlie Weiss is a big fat jabba the hut d-bag.

All of that added together and more, makes them have more power, more recruiting ability and deeper talent......Yet, they still suck and have sucked for years. That is what is truly great.

How much they have going for them, and how much they have squandered over time.

NBC was in mourning during the 4th quarter yesterday when Brady Quinn couldn't get anything going and their offensive line couldn't block a PeeWee team....

And then when he got that pass off to Smardizjaalsdlkfghjahglasfa or however you spell his name, it was like Christmas, New Year's and the 4th of July all rolled into one if you listened to the NBC announcers...

i hate ND because of games like Saturday - they win by throwing a late TD pass against prevent defense then walk around puffy chested and act like they are that damn good. as soon as they play against a team that will bang for four quarters they are done.
