Really good read from Kevin Noon... Willie gushes about tOSU and what he likes about the school. He is in contact with Brewster, Adams, Stoney, and Garrett Goebel. He does not have a favorite at this time and will most likely take his visits before deciding.

In contact with GG?! Wonder if he's telling Willie to come to tOSU and play on the DLine with him. Wow.

Couldn't read the update, but you gotta love having two uncommitted prospects that your team has targeted talking to each other... particularly when used in the same sentence with other current Buckeye commits. Those two could be a force to reckon with in the trenches on the same line...

Not to rain on the parade, but I'm sure Mr Mobley is in contact with A LOT of people. This update was written by a Buckeye site and recapitulated by someone here. So the references are related to the good news for us.

I, too am happy that the current class is in contact with Mobley, but so are a ton of recruits from other competing schools as well...

But they haven't been as successful as Brewster & Co.

I think he is very undecided, but has a lot of love for his hometown. Can't reveal premium info, but let's just say he has mentioned being in contact w/ committed bluechippers from a couple of schools-just like Brewster and Stomeburner.

JULY 6, 2007. PREP STAR WILLIE MOBLEY, DT, from Eden Prairie, Minnesota has offers from Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Hawaii, Illinois and UCLA.

I went to UCLA's summer camp and really liked it." said Mobley, "They have great academic support. I like the coaching staff and the area (Los Angeles)."

"UCLA didn't push for a commit." he said, "At the time, I didn't have all my transcripts with me. I'm ready to go know grade wise. UCLA is a little tougher to get in."

"I hear from Crosgrove (Nebraska) a lot." said Mobley, "He text messages me. I plan on making an unofficial visit there some time."

"I like Iowa a lot." he said, "They were one of the first schools to offer me. I've been to Iowa City, it's real nice, not a big place but a nice college campus. I like the academics and coaches at Iowa too."

"Ohio State has a great coaching staff, I like them a lot." he said, "I'm going to visit them soon. I like the academics and history at Ohio State."

Mobley went on to say that next week he is going to visit Wisconsin. Mobley said Hawaii has not said much lately, but they are interested.
