Reading the comments over on BWI made me sick. Some of those people are more concerned how this affects PSU football than the allegations themselves. It is sick and truly evidence of a cult.

I don't get it. You oppose the sexual abuse of children while allowing for the accused to have their due process rights. What you don't do is worry about any impact on a CFB program. Good Lord.

The abused can become abusers. The disease gets tranferred and carries on to another generation.
Now think about hundreds of abused kids and their screwed up future.
The abuser I knew of was a mail carrier for his working life. He probably came into contct with hundreds of kids.
It's a real horror show of unimaginal future for many. And family and community(church) gave him cover for years.

Pretty common for basic physical abuse, so it seems reasonable that the dynamic would be present for sexual abuse also.
