Disgraced Former Penn State DC Jerry Sandusky (convicted child molester)

I don't understand why somebody seeing a rape in progress on a 10 year old would not first free that young boy from that act.

I have no idea if it was McQ or not, but if it was, it is hard to be quite as critical of him. Presumably he walked in on something that would shock anyone. After that, you have no idea if the perp is armed or not...maybe he packs in case anyone walks in on his little funhouse. The he tells his superiors, people in positions of authority, exactly what he has seen, and they say "OK, we'll handle it". So he doesn't know what that means, but if he trusts the people he tells, then they let hom down big-time as well. It still doesn't excuse never going to the police at any point by any means, but I do that that the situation he walked in on could have been perceived to be dangerous to him as well.

At this point, I'm kind of surprised a civil suit against Penn State hasn't been pursued by the victim(s) (if any of the acts happened on campus) and imagine there are a few (maybe many) attorneys that will get around to that eventually (even if they can or can't win a case).

He's a pervert, Dude.

Ohio State fires the two most successful coaches in the program's history for losing it on the sideline and throwing a punch at an opposing player and for failing to report players getting free tattoos. Now, I feel that both of these actions were correct and necessary, yet we're held up as a rogue program.

Penn State has a GA, the head coach, the athletic director, a university VP and the university president all made aware that an assistant coach is ass-raping 10 year olds in the locker room showers.

None of them notify the police.
None of them notify children's services.
None of them attempt to identify the child so that he might receive some help and counseling.
None of them ban Sandusky from being on campus.

In fact, the same university president just released a statement saying that the AD and University VP, have his "unconditional support."

Yet Penn State is somehow viewed as pure as the driven [censored]ing snow. Seriously, fuck Barebacker U. and their senile old coach, asswipe fans and disgraceful administration.

GPA if I had the authority to hand them out.

Are you kidding me? Even if you don't see yourself fit to step in and save a 10 year old who's being raped, at the very least you find the nearest phone and call 911. Immediately. This isn't a time to follow "chain of command."

It was reported that Sandusky and the 10 year old saw McQueary looking at them. I hope that image is burned in McQueary's brain forever. How he can live with himself for not helping that child, I can't fathom. How many kids continued to be victims of Sandusky's abuse after the 2002 incident that could have been prevented?

I've no doubt that they will make raving douchebags of themselves, after all they are douchebags and that's what douchebags do.

I'm just pointing out that nothing about this situation is bad as compared to what happened to the kids.

Just realize when I call them inbred hillbilly fucksticks, that's not just a college football smack thing. That is exactly what about 90% of their fanbase truly is....

And yes it is a tragedy as to what happened to the kids. The fact that the university and athletic department covered for this fucker is deplorable on every level.

Gotta agree with Cleve here.....

If I see a 10 year old being raped I'm stopping that immediately, maybe kicking the piss out of the perv and calling the cops.

This makes the Notre Dame tower death look like the Domers were the soul of proactive compliance. :shake:

Joe. You are dead to me. Dead.
This is why you dont make Saints out of Div 1 football coaches..they are driven to win and commonsense goes out the window..even somehow rationalizing the rape of young boys..

...was gonna go with "they call it 'daisy-chain of command' at Penn State", but my urge to shoot some people is interfering with my usual smart-assness. Just came from an Order of the Arrow Ordeal, and some of the scouts were only a few years older than that kid. Hell, some of the younger scouts looked very young. The man was committing rape on a child. Victims of such abuse grow up into ruined lives, self destructive behavior and drug and alcohol abuse because of this. People commit suicide years later after having relationship and trust issues their whole lives.

Homers are homers on all football boards to some extent, but if anyone defends this over at the state penn boards, they are truly delusional douches. :shake: And Joe, no last round of farewell games and award accepting. Immediate firing is in order.
