That's probably because you're taking a garbage product.
Thanks, little miss muffett. It isn't the whey. I'd be willing to venture it's the filler. If you're taking a protein high in artificial sugars or with high carbs.
I'm now stacking a nice combo of percocet and tramidol after an unanticipated hip microfracture surgery. Sort of does the trick.
Is that in addition to recovery whey or in replacement of... any brands to stay away from with the BCAA?BCAA's would be my first recommendation. If you're looking for a more natural solution to fat loss, I enjoy CLA when I'm doing my cuts.
Creatine is a heck of thing. While it's nothing serious, I'd stick to the first two of my suggestions and run with that.
EAS recovery, I usually only do a scope and a half after work outs, or a scope if I'm mixing it for breakfast. If you have any other recommendations I'd love to hear..Your protein stays in regardless of what other supps you decide to stack. Optimum Nutrition just had a nice buy one get one deal for BCAA's but in capsule form.
A few people (myself included) prefer the powder because, well I just hate taking more pills than I already do. You don't have to be overly brand specific on them, which is nice.
Look for the best deals.
edit: I'm not sure what brand of Whey you're taking - but Glutamine never hurt anybody.
