Ok fitness gurus, I've started P90X3 been doing it for about a week now. I'm wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for pre/post workout supplements & brands. I'm looking more to lose fat, than to lose weight. Right now I generally do some milk & recovery whey mix post workout and will in the morning make a shake of Kashi Go Lean Crunch, Milk, Yogurt, Blueberry's and Whey (quite tasty and filling). I've been reading around the internet and keep seeing Creatine & BCAA but I'm really not sure. any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

BCAA's would be my first recommendation. If you're looking for a more natural solution to fat loss, I enjoy CLA when I'm doing my cuts.

Creatine is a heck of thing. While it's nothing serious, I'd stick to the first two of my suggestions and run with that.

Is that in addition to recovery whey or in replacement of... any brands to stay away from with the BCAA?

Your protein stays in regardless of what other supps you decide to stack. Optimum Nutrition just had a nice buy one get one deal for BCAA's but in capsule form.
A few people (myself included) prefer the powder because, well I just hate taking more pills than I already do. You don't have to be overly brand specific on them, which is nice.
Look for the best deals.

edit: I'm not sure what brand of Whey you're taking - but Glutamine never hurt anybody.

EAS recovery, I usually only do a scope and a half after work outs, or a scope if I'm mixing it for breakfast. If you have any other recommendations I'd love to hear..

Thanks man... really appreciate the advice.

Edit: 100% agree on the capsule vs powder

Edit2: Regarding the BCAA - just a formula straight BCAA or BCAA in cocktail with other supplements?

You can just slam BCAA's in water.
Or if you get the powder, go unflavored and just toss it in when you slam your protein.

As for protein. I found a special on dymatize elite. I went with Cinnamon bun. In my experience EAS has always been a bit on the expensive side. Un- justifiably so.
