Oh, Dryden, ... let's go back to that ... building ... thingee... where our beds and TV ... is. And stop worrying about all this foolishness.
Not sure why, but this got my nipples erect.

if you're trying to bulk up, yesDo Chili Tacos count as fitness food?
This was a good week. Since I got off the meds for my back and hip injuries, I've been eating more regular meals and now that I can run again, I've hit the gym every morning this week after work. I can't do weights or anything more than walking/jogging/stretching until March though.
Tonight I weighed myself and I'm down nearly 20lbs from January 31st, when I was able to stop with the painkillers and steroids. I have a long way to go, but I'm hoping to be able to do the Warrior Dash in August...hopefully...
That's a hell of a drop, man. Good to hear.
I myself have been lazy - haven't touch a single weight for nearly 4 months. As opposed to being around 7-8% bodyfat, I"m now just over 11%. I've lost muscle mass and a little weight. Down to 180lbs. Signed up for Tough Mudder in May to support a friend and I have football firing back up in April. I figured it was time to get back in gear - conditioning starts Monday and I'll ease into strength training about 3 weeks later. I won't lie, work and this damned cold weather really take the motivation right out of you. It's so easy to be idle and eat trash.
I hate that they gave me a steroid to help with my back injury. It makes me eat non fucking stop. I gained something like 40 lbs between January 1st and January 31st.
Depending on your prescription, it would be nothing of a surprise of if you had excess water retention.
I need to buy a bike. Any suggestions?
The bike will be used for training, 15+ mile rides, some triathlons the first year, possibly a century ride next year. I would also prefer if I could ride this bike around town with my wife and little one.
