Diet-Fitness-General Wellness Your Thoughts?

I had heard that BMI bull[Mark May] when I was 195. I was slightly outside "ideal" BMI range. Because... Well, fuck the fact that I was at 8% body fat, apparently.

Well. Its great if you have an average frame and build I guess.

That's just not me. At 185 I'd be probably 8% too. And right on the edge of the range... and I'd look "skinny". Illusion kinda though. Last time I was 185, my dad was 3 bills or so. We wore the same size sport jacket. Same height.

BMI is fine for estimating how fat a population is. The problem with using it on individuals is that everyone thinks they break the formula.

Well.... yeah I mean, the problem of using it on individuals is that its intended for populations (19th century ones at that... I mean its not even fucking paleo). But that's not how its treated...

I need to quit weighing myself all the damn time, driving me nuts...I was excited cause on Thursday I weighed 237 (I've been stuck at the 240 mark for at least 4 months). Weighed myself Friday, same thing. Thought all was good and I was finally starting to lose. Weigh myself yesterday, 241, WTF...then today, 242...FFFFUUUUUUUUUUCCCKKKK YOOUUUUUUUU


I went to the gym each day too

Do you weigh yourself at the same time everyday? I thought I heard once, that in order to get an accurate reading from day to day you need to do it at the same time.

One of THE most infuriating things about working on your weight. Once, I ate like 4 eggs total all day, and gained a $*$& pound. It's like your body betrays you...on purpose. :mad1:
