I take 5-10000 IUs of vitamin D3 and 1300 mg (EPA+DHA) of fish oil.

Why are you taking vitamin C?

I started this thread back when I was going on my health kick. My goal was to gain weight without adding too much fat. I started at 173-175, had my surgery dropped down into the mid 160's but I'm back with a vengeance and back up to about 180 and still fitting into my 32" waist pants very nicely. As a matter of fact I have a date with an 18 year old Asian hottie tonight, wish me luck. :biggrin:

The dat didn't really work out. I'd met her at a place that frequent for dinner, she's a hostess there. About a week ago she started sitting down at my table when it was slow to chat. We eventually agreed to go out on a date. I was supposed to meet her there at the job even though she had the night off. It turns out she still lives with her parents and was trying to keep the date a secret but her sister ratted her out. I get a text on the way over that her parents want to meet me first even though she's 18 and a freshman in college. Well, they weren't thrilled at all that I was older than the both of them (I'm 42, her dad is 40 and mom was 38). When they found out that I was still married it all kind of went to shit. Oh well, it was a nice fantasy while it lasted.

ok, question for you guys, I feel like i'm somewhat health savvy, i've taken a few nutrition/health type classes for my major (sports mgmt)

I wanna know if my routine at the gym is actually helping or not....basically i'm going 5-7 days a week (depending on what i'm doing, if nothing, it's gym, if playing tennis, i don't go)..

Normal Routine (3 days a week):
10 min warm up by walking on treadmil at about 3.2-3.3 mph
Stretch for about a minute (mainly just my calfs since they cramp easily)
Upperbody workout for about 20-30 minutes
Cardio for 20 min (either treadmil run/jog i'll vary the speed between 3.8-5 mph, or Elliptical )

Secondary Routine (2 days a week)
Same as normal but lowerbody for 15-25 minutes...I don't do lowerbody as much because i'll my fat is in upperbody, i'm actually decently ripped in the lower body

Other day or 2:
Warmup 10 minutes by walking
Cardio for 30 minutes

Any kind of physical activity isn't hurting anything,but you have to decide what you are spending time in the gym for,and what goals are you trying to accomplish.

I guess I should have stated some goals..

basically i'm just tryin to lose fat...I'm not worried about muscle building at the moment til I get lower, obviously I wanna build some muscle, but that's not a priority, just losing my body fat
