Yes, there's a Dispatch article about it. They track all of the 1st rounders back to 1970. 1998 was only only year we didn't have a first rounder. I don't know about the rest of the draft.

You might have the years mixed up. In 1998 Ohio State had zero players drafted. Michael Wiley, N'ail Diggs, Ahmed Plummer, and Gary Berry were drafted in 2000. The year before wasn't that bad. Joe Germaine, David Boston, Joe Montgomery, Andy Katzenmoyer, Damon Moore, and Antoine Winfield were drafted.

Poor scUMmers. They just can't seem to get it right. Stay all 4, and the phone doesn't ring on saturday. Leave early (ala Shazor), go undrafted, get picked up as a FA, and then proceed to hold out. 
Truly comical the last two years in NFL drafts for scUMmers.
FWIW, I heard what turned off pro scouts from Watson (besides his 4-year history of underacheivement) was when he showed up late for a workout in a brand new SUV , and then proceeded to drive around the parking lot for a few minutes to show off his new stereo system to the scouts waiting for him.
As for Avant, i'm glad the iggles got him. For someone who supposedly ran a 4.4/40 coming out of highschool, it goes to show you what kind of program they have up there in Ann Arbor that he's now running a high 4.7/40 four years later. In the end, I guess it works out, Avant can't run deep and McSoup can't throw deep.

Man Cowherd was ripping them a new one on his show today.

He said no one does less with the talent they recruit than Michigan. He said they consistenly have top 10 recruiting classes and where does all the talent go. He said they are not an elite program any more and they are gettign owned by their rivals who are on a whole nother level.
Then he went on to say that Texas Southern had more first day draft picks 2 than what Michigan had.
Man I am suprised I didnt get in a wreck on my way to school as I was LMAO.
I think Michigan should be known as the school where highly rated recruits go to fall into mediocrity.
