1. UM has offered several QBs besides Gardner. If Godfrey and Bolden wanted to commit to UM right now, I don't think there is any way they don't accept their verbals. My guess is UM is looking for two more QBs in this class.

2. With Montana visiting soon, I imagine the staff will have a pretty good idea of where they sit with him...which could go a long way towards determining if an offer goes out to Gardner.

wad, When a player like Gardiner or Montana visit, is it strictly to meet coaches/players, look at campus/facilities, or does the staff get to work them out at all?

:roll2: Yea, because un-committed recruits are charged with showing interest in schools before they become involved. I'm sure PSU would have no interest in a top-50 blue chip prospect that fits their system at QB.

What am I missing... Didn't PSU only sign one QB in '09? Do they have transfers coming in for 2010?

You'll find on these boards that the depth charts at schools that could possibly interest a recruit will frequently be mentioned. It's a pretty big factor in the decision for a lot of recruits, not to mention a factor in whether a school competing for a recruit may enter the competition.

That's ok. He's not even a real moderator, he's just a Raider fan so the Admins. felt sorry for him and gave him a title.
