Detroit Red Wings (Official Thread)

Mike is this just a rebuilding year for the Wings? I haven't been able to follow them much here in NC (huge hockeye area). I see they will make the playoffs, but one year removed from the finals, it seems like quite a tough year for them.

I used to dig going to watch the GR team when we lived there to see the up and coming players.

not Mike, but as a pretty big Wings fan I'll answer. Obviously we lost a ton of goal scorers in Hossa, Hudler, Sammy, etc. the core of the team is getting older, and zetterberg and datsyuk just don't have the kind of talent around them that they did the last few years. Howard's a solid goaltender, so if we can get some more scoring (and maybe another good defender; Stuart is meh at best and Ericsson is prolly better suited as a fwd) we'll be right back at the top.

how many games a week?

Just goes in streaks. Sometimes there is value on 3-4 games in a busy night, sometimes I won't make a play for days. Line makers can go on long spurts of shitty pricing.

On average I'd say 1 play every other day. If that was the only sport I focused on I think I could find 1 a day on average, maybe more. It's not always a full game who wins who loses bet. 1st quarter and team totals are often much softer than full game money lines.
