I hate to play the sour grapes card but man this feels like sour grapes comment about Michigan. How do you grow up rooting for OSU and idolizing Eddie and then say Michigan is hard to say no to.

He took a page from the Dymonte Thomas school of sour grapes. That's all I'll say about this. Best of luck to him regardless of his choice.

Because in the end he has to make the best decision for himself and his future and if he thinks that is Michigan, then he will forget all about his love of OSU and Eddie real quick...

I grew up in Columbus. I am a season ticket holder. I have coached at OSU for over a decade. If 20 years ago I had offers from the entire Big 10 and OSU told me they were full at my position, you can bet Michigan would have been hard to say no to...

As much as our two fanbases want to scream from the mountain tops about Kyle Kalis, Justin Boren, Brionte Dunn, Dymonte Thomas, etc. the fact remains that these kids have to do what is best for themselves and the smart ones take childhood allegiances out of the equation.

Safe to assume we definitively stopped pursuing Derrick?

I feel there is a difference between having offers from just the Big Ten, and having offers from 28 schools nationwide.
