ulukinatme;1680094; said:I loved that ESPN magazine that came out the year after Leinart was drafted. It showed him crumpling a former issue talking about his draft status, and he went around to various teams asking why they passed on him in the draft. That guy had such a big head in college and was stacked with talent around him, he wasn't quite as good as the media let on, go figure. I've been loving his futility thusfar in the NFL, it would be sweet if Anderson got the start next season.

Rumblings Xtra: Items that didn't make print (The Daily Hunter)While rumors continue to swirl that the Broncos might trade quarterback Kyle Orton, the two scenarios facing Dublin native Brady Quinn are remarkably different. If Orton goes, the former Browns? first round pick likely becomes the team?s starting quarterback, with Denver first round draft pick Tim Tebow as the backup and on the field when Broncos use in the Wildcat. If Orton stays, he is the starter, Tebow is the backup (because of his Wildcat possibilities) and Quinn is the emergency No. 3, who starts if Orton is out. It should be noted that the Broncos have said that Orton is going nowhere, contrary to the reports.
Meanwhile, reports out of Arizona indicate that Derek Anderson, the other former Cleveland quarterback, hasn?t done much to impress team officials so far this spring. With Anderson and Matt Leinart struggling, the Cardinals may look elsewhere for a candidate to replace recently retired starter Kurt Warner.
Duh. Doesn't anybody watch game film? I don't care about the lack of talent surrounding him, Derek Anderson is a stupid QB. Stupid QBs suck. It's simple fucking math.Meanwhile, reports out of Arizona indicate that Derek Anderson, the other former Cleveland quarterback, hasn?t done much to impress team officials so far this spring.
Scout (for free)The Cardinals don't appear close to making a quarterback change, but coach Ken Whisenhunt acknowledged Monday that Derek Anderson needs to play better.
Anderson has struggled with accuracy in his first three games, and he's missing receivers for big plays, most notably Larry Fitzgerald.
In each game, Fitzgerald has been open for potential large gains, but Anderson's lack of touch has caused incompletions.
