Deion Sanders (HC Colorado)

Deon is selling the sizzle. He did in fact turn his last stop into a winner, and he's selling that. Can truly imagine that the Colorado football players were tested (much like combine), and those below grade were counseled 'out'. Well, candidly they were grabbing 2*s like they were nickel candy bars, so roster turnover is expected. Just not as much as seeing. Jax, mayhaps he used pretty women as part of the 'sizzle'? We'll see what kind of product he puts on the field come the season.

He's selling football tickets too:

Coach Prime keeps driving ticket sales as Colorado turns in record day for single-game admission

There’s a high demand for a front-row seat to watch the turnaround at the University of Colorado under Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders. Or so the soaring ticket sales indicate.

The Buffaloes sold 11,273 single-game tickets, the largest one-day total for individual games in team history. The school already sold out of its season-ticket allotment, marking the first time that’s happened since 1996.

The demand has been through the roof since Sanders took over the downtrodden program in early December. Even the spring game – featuring snowy and cold conditions – sold out.

If Colorado is able to leave the PAC for the Big 12, then he will have much better results. Not saying that he'll be in an NC, but he could make some playoffs, and see some major bowls. But that's an IF
Well you are assuming who will be left in the PAC 10? With USC and UCLA leaving and Washington and Oregon begging to get into the B10 who will be left in that conference.
It is quickly boiling down into a few Mega Conferences and then some smaller crappy conferences. What is going to be left after the SEC and B10 conferences? The ACC is about to implode. The PAC 10 is on the vapors. And the B12 has been dying a slow death for years.

Doesn't that kind of make my point? Colorado in a weakened Big 12, or even weakened Pac 10 benefits Colorado. Deion can tout success with yet another program, optics don't matter to that fanbase or his fans. A conference championship in either conference is something he can openly brag about

Oh I agree with you. I guess I was just doubling down that he does not have to leave the P10 to have a crappy conference to dominate.

Ill believe it when he shows he can coach.
Beating 2* with 4* kids was one thing.
Even without USC and UCLA, there are still decent bowl teams in the PAC. He will have to consistently beat 3* teams with 3* transfers just to make it to bowl season. And beat 4* teams for a championship.
Im not sold he can do that.

Oh I agree.
But in the Big 12 he can certainly out talent almost half of the teams easily. That’s my point. Colorado has no shot in thePAC, but in the Big 12 its a much different story.

This could be a rather interesting season in Boulder.
Seems like a really, really easy thing to take advantage of as an opposing coach with a walk-on linebacker on special teams with some free time.
