Kyle, you keep arguing against shit I never said. I never said that slavery was not the cause of the war. I never denied that the southen slave owning landed gentry did not drag the rest of the south into the war. As you say, if you get that we were allowed to secede, then that ended my point. I gave no other reasons about any other subject, hollow or not, and I only said that because you implied that talking about the legal aspect was somehow condoning slavery.

I never denied the south lost, so I don't have anything to get over.

Yeah - I mean I think you guys are greatly over-exaggerating how much most southerners give a shit about the Civil War. I really couldn't care less.

3,000 - 5,000 idiots dressing up and going into fields to re-enact battles do not speak for the vast majority of us. I'm much more interested in awesome stuff like Fried Okra and Marlon Brown
