Decanonized Mythologized Disgraced Ped State Monster Coach Joe Paterno (Zombie Icon)

Just saw this posted on FB....

Puts JoePa in somewhat of a better light...I guess...

Still begs the question, if JoePa had knowledge of deplorable criminal behavior by his long time friend/asst., why wouldn't he both confront him and/or report it directly to the police?

IF Sandusky was still recruiting for PoSU this past Spring, THEN I'd say that the supposed actions by JoePa above are equine excrement.

State Penn students trying to save face by having a candle light vigil, only it's a couple of days too late and after their ridiculous rioting bull[Mark May].
Sounds like you are trying to say that all the students were in on the rioting and now some of them are trying to make amends. In contrast to the the infamous couch burning at tOSU in which I'm suure you know every TOSU student was in on that too. :tongue2:

Penn State fans are in for reality checks on a number of levels.
No doubt. Couldn't believe how many Penn State fans assured everyone that Penn State is one of two universities never to have major NCAA violations. Get real, if they're willing to cover this horrendous shit up (which is far worse then any NCAA violation), just imagine what else they're covering up.

Penn State fans are almost certain that Urban Meyer is going to lead State Penn to 'the promise land'.. They're in for a reality check..

I'm starting to feel (ok...hope) that the fallout from the Clery Act violations that the Justice Department is going to hammer Penn State with might make our upcoming sanctions much more preferable should UM be looking to get out of the booth.

Just heard (again) on BTN Joe's now famous, "Wish I'd done more." I really wish they'd stop taking this quote out of context (as weak as it is).

The full quote is, "Wish I'd done more to cover this #&!%# mess up. Can't believe some %&$#@ prosecutor had the nerve to question ME."

If Sandusky would've been stopped in 98 and put in prison instead of "fired" from PSU..How many kids would have been saved Joe? Anyone on the coaching staff since 98 either knew or had suspicisons about Sandusky and his parading of young boys through the facility..Paterno probably told McQueary to stay out of Sankduskys.sho "office"..

Success with Honor!!!! I am sure PSU and JoePa knew nothing about this. Now the NCAA may have to be involved....

Adam Ah Ching, a senior linebacker at Greer High School in South Carolina, said that Sandusky actually visited him this past season as a recruiting ploy.
?He came to my last spring game going into my senior season. He liked how I moved, laterally, and how gifted I am,? said Ah Ching, ranked last year by ESPNU as the 26th linebacker prospect in the country.

Bowden: Paterno 'negligent' in Penn State scandal

Bobby Bowden, the legendary former coach at Florida State who shares a friendship and rich football history with Joe Paterno, said Friday he was shocked by the news of the child sex-abuse scandal at Penn State involving Paterno?s former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.

Friday's interview with The Albany Herald marked Bowden's first public comments since Paterno was fired late Wednesday, and Bowden added that he felt his longtime friend was "negligent" in failing to do more to stop it.

"It's sad what happened at Penn State," Bowden said as he spoke at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes luncheon at Doublegate Country Club. "Joe was a little negligent."
