DE Walter "Scooter" Dublin (official thread)

I was very impressed with Walter Dublin in his interview on BN. Very intelligent, very well spoken and articulate. I could not believe that I was listening to a Senior in H.S.

His major at tOSU is going to be in the area of communication. With his communication skills and talent on the field, I would not be surprised to see WD as a team captain his Senior year at tOSU.

I was also impressed by Dublin in his BN radio hour interview. He had a good attitude about whether or not he would redshirt.

And he said all of his friends and family call him 'Scooter'.

Good article on Dublin and the fact growing up he liked Michigan and Michigan State. Says he can learn to hate the wolverines.

It's not really hard to do. Listen to that fight song for a while, watch old highlights of Woodson strutting around, watch/listen/laugh at Lloyd's sideline antics. He'll be hating them in no time. Of course, the recent fourth quarter meltdowns might be cause for sympathy. :wink2:

I have always been very high on Walter Dublin as a player. I really like his upside and he has a great burst off the edge. It is nice to read this interview and see that he is a great person as well, with a very supportive mother.

I had read this article when my BN's mag came in the mail, it is a very good read and shows that Dublin is a great person. I also really enjoyed the article on Larimore as well, he's a kid of many talents!

Scooter the type of player I love to have. I follow recruiting, but dont get too caught up in the players we lose out on. The staff knows what they are doing. Scooter and Anderson Russell just to name of few are the types of kids I cheer for on Saturdays. They are the recruits I love. And to think people get worked up we we take someone that is only 3* or whatever. Ill be cheering for Scooter this fall!
