But one player, Pittman, is getting attention from every part of the country.
Alabama has reportedly offered Pittman. Colleges aren?t permitted to officially offer a player until August of his senior season. However, unofficial offers can be made through back channels.
?Pittman, he?s the only one being recruited like that,? Johnson said. ?He?s on a national level. There?s only one guy like ?Pitt? in next year?s class.?

Talks about where OSU stands with the offer...will visit this spring to talk about where the staff sees him fitting in...wants to decide before his senior season.
MORE OFFERS FOR PITT
Unofficial college football offers keep rolling in for McKinley defensive end Se?Von Pittman. Tennessee, Nebraska and Florida State are the most recent offers for Pittman, who already has unofficial offers from Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Alabama and many others.
Pittman and Bulldog defensive back Jermaine Edmondson went to East Lansing, Mich., this weekend to take in a Spartan basketball game.
PITTMAN INTEREST
McKinley defensive end Steve Miller signed with the Buckeyes in February. But Bulldog junior Se?Von Pittman is getting as much interest, if not more. He?s been offered by Alabama and Ohio State.
Asked if he was working on Pittman, Tressel said, ?The only thing I?m allowed to about prospective student-athletes is if we have interest.
?Yes we do.?
Tressel deadpanned the interested, but emphasized it. He got a laugh from the audience. College coaches are extremely limited by NCAA rules what they can say about a recruit before he signs, and the last thing Tressel needs is more NCAA attention.
