By The Bank....Says he had a great time at the Ohio State Spring Game. Enjoying the recruiting process and says he's wide open. Plans to visit West Virginia & Michigan State over the next few weeks and will probably make a decision in the fall after some officials.

PITTMAN AT OSU

McKinley defensive end Se?Von Pittman attended Ohio State?s spring game Saturday. Pittman can pick any school he wants to go to in the country, basically. Asked if Pittman would want to go to a place as far away as USC, his head coach said, ?Yes, without a doubt.?

?He?s been offered by just about everyone in America,? Johnson said. ?Nebraska and Notre Dame both came in this week. He?s done a great job of taking care of his spring. He?s getting himself out there and visiting places and researching places.?

Pittman went to Notre Dame?s spring game as well. He also attended spring practices at Michigan and Michigan State.

Hey guys...just popping in here to ask a question, hoping I don't get shot along the way. :)

I've seen a few posts on some Michigan boards in the last few days saying that a few OSU insiders have said they feel Pittman is favoring Michigan at the moment, but I haven't actually *seen* any of it being said, so I'm thinking it's just nonsense. Have any of you guys heard anything like that?

To be honest, I think the Michigan insiders/writers have done a great job of getting everyone to drink the kool-aid.

While I believe they are picking up recruiting momentum, the way their writers/insiders spread news is different IMO then the rest of the scout network. The fan base has been so down and divided, I think they are all biting and gobbling it all up.

With that being said, I have never seen anything about Pittman favoring Michigan. I think most still strongly believe he ends up at OSU, and the only surprise is that he has not committed yet.

I believe Michigan may have a slight shot, but that is about it.

I dont know if it was Michigans Scout site that reported that but the better message boards that actually have connections in Ohio are saying that they would be shocked if he didnt go to Ohio St. They would have to get smashed with sanctions and hire someone with no connections to this staff.
