I was thinking the same thing. Rose doesn't need another year to put on weight, it must be the depth. What a nice problem to have. Having said that, the season is young and they have him if they need him.

I didn't see him in either on Saturday. I will be very surprised if he redshirts this year. For sure though, if one of the guys in the 2-deep at DE goes down with an injury, his redshirt will be burned (if it's still already on at that point).

This was in the notes section of the Akron Beacon Journal. I read it somewhere else as well. It should be fun to watch Rose, Wilson, Gholston and Richardson rotate.

Hmm. Kind of weird that if Tressel is planning to play him tonight against UT, he wouldn't at least have gotten him some game experience last weekend against NIU. Was he hurt at all last weekend?

They were still thinking about a redshirt for him is what I believe.
We have never had this many DEs this good! :biggrin:
This will be huge because of all the fine QBs we will be playing against this year!

With Rob not playing in his second straight game, do you think Redshirt is a realistic possibility.

With the lack of depth at DT [coming up next year], and his already imposing size, you think they may reshirt to bulk him up?

Just throwing things out there.
