I believe Manny Lawson wore 9 at NCST. I like it. Also like Henton at 7. I saw Robert on campus today, and that kid is freakishly big. I sure am glad I will never have to line up across from him.

I honestly do not like Henton at 7. I mean ya its cool we got a 7 at QB again, but now my boy inSAINE can't get 7, even though he didn't know what number he wanted yet, but i assumed he woulda got 7.

Henton is obviously redshirting. I hope he will change his number to 10 after Troy Smith leaves, that is if Troy doesn't bring home the Heisman this year.

Anyways, I heard that Rose is in the 8-man rotation for d-line play. I think I read it in a Plain Dealer article today. That's incredible for a week of practice at the college level. He's going to be incredible.

Even if Troy wins the Heisman, they won't retire his number for quite awhile, so Henton will be able to get it next year. Back to Robert...

As excited as I am about what I'm hearing about Robert, I think I'll wait until he actually plays a game, or even participates in a single scrimmage at the college level first...

I wouldn't rule it out, but there are so many young guys with loads of potential at the end position: Wilson, Worthington, Barrow, Gohlston, Rose just to name a few. With this kind of depth, I'd have to think that the coaches will rotate them like crazy to keep them fresh and fast. I can't see anyone getting the amount of plays that Vrabel, Finkes, Simmons, or any of those guys got in their day. Basically, it will be tough to beat their records. In my mind, it's kind of like getting a 300 win pitcher in the majors - an everyday occurrence has become much more difficult and rare because the game itself is changing.
