Williams seems a lot like Vincent Browne from last year's class - both are about the same size and speed, both are considered to be tweeners (MLB/DE/DT), both are from smaller high school programs, and both are/were huge Buckeye fans. Browne never got an offer, so will Williams get one in a small class? Hard to say... DT seems like Williams's ultimate position in college, but with DT offers to Goebel and Mobley (OSU has a good chance at both, and don't forget about Josh Jenkins, who could also play DT), where would Nate fit in?RB07OSU;803834; said:I personally don't know what we are waiting on...if Koger was offered over Williams, I would be shocked. I think Koger must be a TE offer and his offer surprised me because I thought Moore would be next. But I would have to admit that I would be disappointed if we didn't take Williams. Wants so bad to be a Buckeye and has got even taller and bigger lately...I think he earns that offer. You just can't turn down a player like Williams that loves OSU and is a legit OSU caliber player.
It's no secret that Ohio State needs to get more athletic in the "power" positions - does Williams have the overall athletic ability that tOSU is looking for? Maybe camp answers that question....
A bit OT, but I have always doubted that Moore would be in tOSU's plans.
