Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
Fact or Fiction? Addressing the burning questions in J.T. Tuimoloau's recruitment
J.T. WILL VISIT ALL THE SCHOOLS IN HIS FINAL FIVE: FACT
Like we said above, at minimum, Tuimoloau will visit Alabama and Ohio State.
But as adamant as they have been about taking visits before a decision, they've been just as adamant they will visit all of those schools on his final five.
So while J.T. has been to Alabama, Oregon, USC and Washington, and his family has been to the latter three, only the visit to Oregon was an actual unofficial visit with the whole family.
We expect them to visit all five schools, and it may end up being a back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back type of swing, but we anticipate all five schools will have Tuimoloau on campus in June for a couple days each.
OHIO STATE IS THE LEADER: FACT
At least, according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
The reality is, Ohio State has been the perceived leader for Tuimoloau for months, but when I put in my Crystal Ball last May, I did it with a confidence level of one.
But I've never felt the Buckeyes were waaaaay out in front, just slightly ahead — and for good reason. Tuimoloau has consistently cited his relationship with defensive line coach Larry Johnson, the track record that Johnson has with defensive linemen at both Penn State and Ohio State and another close friend and former prep teammate, Gee Scott Jr., is in Columbus.
Yet this isn't one of those recruitments where Ohio State is the emphatic leader and a visit will wrap him up. Far from it.
Still, I do think the Buckeyes are playing from ahead.
HE'LL STILL BE AN IMPACT PLAYER THIS FALL: FACT
I get that some will point to such a delayed decision eventually impacting Tuimoloau's freshman year, but come on: He's an elite pass-rusher with college-ready size, strength, quickness and skill.
Whether its Alabama or Ohio State or one of the three Pac-12 schools, Tuimoloau is too good to sit on the sidelines at any point in his career, let alone early.
While the only disadvantage he has compared to most freshman is the later decision leading to a later enrollment, he's been playing football for the last two months, so he's at least in football shape. It's no surprise, but it's worth noting Tuimoloau has been dominant as expected this spring.
Wherever he signs, he will be an impact player come September.

Apparently he did make unofficial visits to Washington and Oregon for their Spring Games:
During Oregon’s scrimmage consensus five-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau, the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2021, shared short Instagram Story videos of his view from Autzen Stadium taking in practice, publicly confirming he was on campus:
Last week, the Washington Huskies hosted Tuimoloau for a practice, and Saturday was Oregon’s turn.
