I do seem to remember that he was one of the first ones (if not the first one) to have his black stripe removed.

Correction. He was the THIRD freshman after McMillan and Samuel. Given how good those two are, I think that says something.

Third freshman to lose his black stripe after McMillan and Samuel. Excited for this kid already. Meyer has incredible success with guys he signs late.

Nah too light... has a build similar to Holmes. I think Cornell, the kid from iggy that tore his ACL are good candidates though

He is only a redshirt freshman. He was in the 2014 class.

Also, keep in mind he's in here with Bosa, Holmes, Lewis, and Hubbard and his frame isn't going to allow him to slide inside. He is a true end, and with Joey moving on this year, and LJ's desire to sub guys to keep them fresh, next year will be his year. It's a logjam at end, but I don't think he won't see the field in 2016.
