But it’s safety’s and linebacker’s covering them. That isn’t our weakness.Those aren't good TE's. Those are freaks
Depends which safeties though. They've got to be a bit bigger or we'll just get pushed around. But it’s safety’s and linebacker’s covering them. That isn’t our weakness.
If this was a team with three NFL wide receiver’s the chances would be essentially zero.
Anything better than zero is a plus.
Georgia WR not great ..but in one on ones with our corners…Depends which safeties though. They've got to be a bit bigger or we'll just get pushed around.
They are going to hurt us, no getting around that. It’s all relative though. The damage elite WR’s would do to our CB’s infinitely greater than what even the two best TE’s in CFB can do to our safeties/lb’s.Depends which safeties though. Thanks for the reminder. I had almost forgotten.I'd bet vcash that the D plan that shows up against GA will be pretty vanilla. Maybe some blitzes, but none of the 'all-out' rushes that were employed against Xichigan. One led to a TD reception, and two made Donovan Edwards a first rounder......
This team against LSU 2019 or Bama 2020 would be fucking painful. Maybe even more Painful then Bama 2020But it’s safety’s and linebacker’s covering them. That isn’t our weakness.

Personally I haven't liked our safety play since Iowa either. They are going to hurt us, no getting around that. It’s all relative though. The damage elite WR’s would do to our CB’s infinitely greater than what even the two best TE’s in CFB can do to our safeties/lb’s.
Speaks more to how completely insufficient our corners are than confidence in our safeties.
...Knowles said early in the season that five explosive plays in a given game – while not celebrated – is a number he can tolerate due to the nature of his scheme.
Thanks for the reminder. I had almost forgotten.
