Ohio State junior safety Jamie Wood leaves the football team citing shoulder issues

The junior had struggled with shoulder injuries throughout much of his career.

Just a week following the dismissal of Tyrone "T.Y." Williams for a violation of team rules, it looks like another Ohio State football scholarship will be opening up for next season. Junior safety Jamie Wood's father told WSYX6's Clay Hall that Wood is departing the football program and is on track to graduate this December:
