DB Eugene Clifford (official thread)

1) Does the Finch verbal to the rodents help us with Clifford or will they sell him on playing CB or WR.

2) Will SCUM take more then 4 DB's this year (Finch and Chambers at S, Rojo and Allen at CB?)

1) Nope. Finch will likely end up as a WLB, which means Clifford would likely never even compete with Finch for the same position if he came to Michigan. Finch is a WLB/apache all the way. Michigan is recruiting Clifford for corner FWIW.

2) Michigan will probably take 6 DB's this year. They need corners bad, my guess is they'll try to take 3-4 corners and 2 safeties.

So, wouldn't the commits of Allena nd Johnson influence Clifford though? As far as I know, Clifford would come into Ohio State as a Safety oppostire Oliver. A lot less competition there, as opposed to being in the same class as 2 of the top corners in the country.

Ben Martin is number 1.
