Gonna be a battle

Not as optimistic as others (the people who have emailed me saying he's done deal to OSU are flipping crazy), but we have a better chance than I thought possible.<O:p</O:p

FWIW, Nevada has said some pretty bold stuff about Clifford, and in my memory, his info has never been off. I agree with you that the last report wasn't as good as I hoped, but I think he'll still be a buckeye. You just don't grow up rooting for OSU hard then go to Michigan. Just like Boren, he may check out Michigan, but I really think the true fans of either program just won't go to the other school. I'm actually worried about a school like Miami or such coming in and offering him. That could be very attractive to any Ohio kid.

Hopefully this doesn't stray too far from Eugene, but Nevada has been wrong before....just like everybody else who tries to predict the minds of 18 year olds who are being told many versions of many truths. EVERYTHING at this point should be taken with a grain of salt.

Rivals$

In this article, he states that he will not be in attendance to any camps because Kerry Coombs, the Colerain Head Coach, doesn't really like the camps. Also states that he does not has a top five right now and will decide later on in the recruiting process so he can make the right decision for himself.

Questions for Insiders

1) Does the Finch verbal to the rodents help us with Clifford or will they sell him on playing CB or WR.

2) Will SCUM take more then 4 DB's this year (Finch and Chambers at S, Rojo and Allen at CB?)
