hahaha....this post is perfect, Mili. I do, in fact, have news on the Eugene front to report. I just got back from dinner with one of my sources on the Colerain team. This source has been told by two friends of Gene (Cobrani Mixon is one of them) that Gene has OSU as his number one choice right now.

This does not mean if Cliff were offered tomorrow that he would verbal...as I explained in the Moeller and Smith threads, Colerain players take their time and explore all of their options before making a choice. This is a direct extension of coach Coombs and a philosophy that I agree with 100%.

The dogfight is on...Clifford is OSU's to lose, I do believe.

This is great news.

Do you think Clifford will handle his recruitment like Smith and Moeller where he will take unofficials b4 the season and have the decision made b4 the season. Or will he take his 5 visits and then decide.

Each person is different. But if Gene follows the method of operation that Colerain players have displayed in the past, he will take visits to all of his favorites, sit down with his family, sit down with his coaches and make the decision that is best for him and his future. So, I expect a Smith/Moeller type of process.

Eugene holds offers from Michigan and Cincinnati. Ohio State, Florida State, Miami and Alabama are showing major interest. He again says he talks to COnnor Smith about tOSU, but also says he talks to Cobrani Mixon about Michigan.
